Wall cuts are panels in New York City subway stations where print advertising is displayed. "Subway artists" tear paper to create collage-like effects, and spray-paint panels with graffiti; time passes and paper deteriorates. These forces combine to create finished "found" artworks, with varying degrees of human intervention.

Panels are grouped onto 3 different pages according to format: Landscape (60" x 48"); Portrait (24" x 48") and Oversize (anywhere from 7 - 14 1/2 ft. x 48").

This gallery features a selection of panels in landscape format; please email me if you would like access to a gallery showing more.
